Board of Directors

CSCS Limited has a board comprised of seven non-executive Directors who are nominated from the member organisations. Additionally, two non-executive Directors are nominated by the Construction Clients Group and the Construction Industry Council, and an independent Chair oversees the board. Its primary purpose is to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the CSCS certification scheme.

Industry representation

The membership of CSCS Ltd is represented by three employer organisations and two unions, reflecting the breadth of the UK construction industry. This ensures that the scheme is aligned with the needs of all stakeholders. Specifically, the membership is represented by: Civil Engineering Contractors Association, Federation of Master Builders, GMB Union, Build UK, and UNITE the Union.
