CSCS will be at the UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) this year, demonstrating Workforce Insights and CSCS Smart Check.

Join us for our panel discussion on day one, Building Competence: Ensuring a Skilled Workforce Across Construction and the Built Environment, which will explore how the construction, and built environment, sectors can strengthen and evidence workforce competence across diverse environments.
Taking place on Tuesday 19th May, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Asian & African Gallery, it will examine standards, and accountability, alongside how improved workforce data can support smarter national and regional planning, enabling better decisions on skills investment, safety, and long-term industry resilience.
Featuring on the panel are:
- Suzannah Nichol OBE – Build UK, Chief Executive (Chair)
- Steve Rotheram, Mayor – Liverpool City Region
- Mark Farmer, Industry Sponsor for People & Skills, Construction Leadership Council
- Louisa Finlay, Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer, Kier.
- Sean Kearns, CSCS Group Chief Executive
We’ll also be on hand throughout at our exhibition space (K42 – Royal Armouries, Ground Floor) to take attendees through the opportunities and possibilities available within Workforce Insights – powered by the CSCS Alliance – and CSCS Smart Check.
Combining occupation and qualification data from CSCS Alliance card schemes with scanning patterns from the CSCS Smart Check verification technology already used across the construction industry, Workforce Insights provides:
- Insights to support workforce planning, local employment monitoring and skills pipeline decisions.
- Operational and compliance support for Tier 1 and 2 contractors as well as housebuilders.
- Digital infrastructure for a competent workforce, a compliant industry and data-driven insights into skills and learning.
