CSCS Smart Check x Persimmon Homes

Persimmon Homes embedded the CSCS Smart Check API into their app to streamline sign-in, strengthen competency controls and unlock workforce insights. The API now provides a more reliable route than manual checks and physical photocopies in site cabinets.

By transitioning to a fully digital verification process, triggered every time a worker is inducted or signs into site, the API within the app checks the worker’s card against the CSCS Smart Check database and flags exceptions such as expiry, revocation or potential fraud.

Importantly, checks continue after induction through to site access, so site teams can have greater confidence and visibility of a fully qualified workforce.
